Over the last few weeks my beloved cat Fluffy became very ill. He was vomiting lethargic and not eating or drinking and as such he became extremely dehydrated, He was not looking good and after a less than positive, expensive and questionable diagnosis, I looked elsewhere for another Veterinary Clinic and a second opinion.
After researching online for good emergency Veterinary care, I came across a wonderful empathic and fairly priced practice at the foot of the Dandenong Hills, located in Boronia.
On the corner of Boronia and Scoresby Road, Animal Medical Centre took awesome care of my cat or sorry, ‘My Owner’, and also of me.
I was desperate and upset and all ready hundred of dollars out of pocket when I walked in the door. Behind the counter was a familiar face, a woman I had worked with, used to manage many years ago. Her smiling face and kind demeanor is a welcome sight for any one in this scenario. Susan is an outstanding Vet Nurse and a kind human, any pet would be fortunate to have her look after their health and well being.
Fluffy had to go into the Vet twice, the initial consultation was cheaper than most, and after a detailed examination the obviously competent and experienced Vet looked to logical options to find the problem as soon as possible.

Fluff was in kitty hospital for several days on fluids, antibiotics, some Diazapam and in the wonderful care of Emma, a beautifully kind Nurse that my cat just adored (way more than me). It cost a fortune in the end but I was never exploited by unnecessary tests or cost. Fluffy is now back to his annoying and lovable fur shredding self, grumpy and still a little unwell, but improving.
Heres hoping it says that way.
Thanks to the staff at Animal Medical Centre. I would highly recommend them for every day, and specialised emergency care for your pet.
